About
A clearer way to prepare for the DFPH
DFPHprep exists to make the Diplomate Examination easier to understand and to prepare for: a plain-English guide to each paper, original exam-style practice with the working shown, and practical revision advice. Free to use, with no account.
Why it exists
The exam is demanding enough without the format being a mystery
Candidates preparing for the DFPH often spend their first weeks working out what the papers actually look like, how answers are marked and where to focus. That time is better spent revising. DFPHprep sets out the structure plainly, shows what good answers contain and links to the official source for everything that is set by the Faculty of Public Health.
The practice questions are built around the way the exam rewards thinking: definitions applied to a scenario, interpretation of numbers in words, and structured written answers against clear marking points. They are illustrative and original. None are official.
What it is not
Four things we want to be plain about
- Not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the Faculty of Public Health
- Not a source of official, past or predicted examination questions
- Not a guarantee, prediction or promise of any examination result
- Not a substitute for the official syllabus, regulations and guidance
How content is made
Editorial principles
Original, by design
Every question, model answer and guide is written from scratch to resemble the style and reasoning of the exam. We do not reproduce or adapt official material.
Checked against the public record
Statements about the exam format are checked against the Faculty of Public Health website at the time of review, dated and linked. Where detail changes often, we point to the source rather than paraphrase it.
Reviewed and dated
Each guide and article shows when it was last reviewed. If you find something out of date or wrong, tell us and we will look at it.
Honest about limits
We do not publish pass rates, testimonials, discounts or guarantees, and we describe planned products as plans. If a number appears on this site it is real or it is clearly marked as proposed.
Who makes it
An independent project
DFPHprep is an independent, self-funded project. It is not run by, funded by or associated with any examining body, training programme or employer.
The names, roles and relevant credentials of the people who write and review the content will be published on this page before the site launches fully, so that you can judge the material on who stands behind it. Until then, we would rather say nothing than overstate anything.
Site content last reviewed 23 October 2026.

All questions on DFPHprep are original and written to resemble the style of the exam. They are not official questions and have no connection to past or future papers. For the official syllabus, regulations and dates, see the FPH exam pages.
